Wow! I just finished rereading 'Night Whispers.' I had read it once years ago
and my remembrance was that it was not nearly as good as JM's earlier works. I have said this in a different post, and now that I have finished it, I think it was better than I remembered; but it was still not up to her earlier books. The character of Noah was not really developed enough to 'grab' you or make you love him.
Boy, I loved Paul Richardson in 'Perfect '. Well, I didn't like that he talked Julie into believing Zack was guilty; but he was a likable character. He sure doesn't seem to have very good intuition for an FBI agent, though. He thought Zack was guilty and then was completely wrong about Noah in a BIG way. But in both books he finally saved the day for both girls. Kudos to him for that!!
I'm reading EBYT next, which was another I read when it first came out and have not re-read since. Jessica, you mentioned the expanded version is so much better, so I'm going for that one.
